Sieger spintech equipments presents a contamination control system designed to remove contaminants in cotton. The operation is based on the detection of contaminants using high-resolution ccd cameras supported by powerful illumination. Signal from the camera is processed by a dedicated graphic processing system that removes the contaminants with minimum loss of usable fibre. The contaminants are collected in a bin or removed through the air duct. High levels of customisation are possible for different types of materials using the most flexible software with pre-defined size, colour, dimensional tolerance, etc. Technical specification: colour ccd camera - 2 units; resolution - 5184 pixels; scan rate - 2 to 3 khz; capacity - up to 1000 kg per hour; and control system - industrial processor with latest imaging software. Special features: defect free yarn; compact and cost effective; very short payback; low power consumption; no additional processing and handling required; remote operator panel with optional touch screen; separate enclosure for control and imaging system; pneumatics within the enclosure; and application - in spinning mills.
